We are thrilled to announce that Race Leys Junior School has achieved our intermediate International award through the British council on Monday 15th January 2024. This was achieved through the hard work, dedication and support of children, families and staff in the development of MFL, by working alongside our international school in Spain and continuing to develop a love for languages. Our MFL lead, Miss Badland was invited by Bob Blackman MP to attend the international awards celebration in the Houses of Parliament, where she received our international award and had the opportunity to meet the deputy chief of the British council – Kate Ewart-Briggs.
We would like to thank all of our staff and families in supporting the development of MFL across the school and for the ongoing commitment from all to allow opportunities to achieve this award.
