Our Year 5 explorers took their learning beyond the classroom and into the heart of the community with a visit to the Islamic Exhibition. It was a day filled with curiosity, discovery, and wonderful conversations!
From the moment we arrived, the students were immersed in a journey through Islamic history, art, and daily life. We marveled at the intricate geometric patterns and stunning calligraphy that are so central to Islamic culture. The children explored the Five Pillars of Islam, learning about the importance of prayer, charity, and community.
A massive thank you to the exhibition staff for being such welcoming hosts and for helping our students see the world through a more inclusive lens. We are so proud of the respect and maturity Year 5 showed today!
