Our student ambassadors had a fantastic day stepping back in time and exploring the local landscape of Bedworth. It was a brilliant opportunity to see how the town’s rich heritage has shaped the community we see today.
Our journey began at the Old Meeting Church, a true local treasure. At over 300 years old, it holds the title of the oldest building in town! Standing inside, you can really feel the weight of three centuries of local history.
From its architectural significance to its place in the town’s geographic layout, the ambassadors gained a firsthand look at how Bedworth evolved from its early roots.
We want to extend a huge thank you to Lynda Burton from the Bedworth Society. Her incredible depth of knowledge and passion for the town’s story turned a simple walk into a masterclass in local history. We are so grateful for her time and for inspiring our students to look closer at the world around them.
