We had an eye-opening (and potentially life-saving) day today! A huge thank you to the team at Bonanza Creative for delivering their incredible Carbon Monoxide Awareness Workshop to us—completely free of charge!
Carbon Monoxide (CO) is colorless, odorless, and tasteless, making it nearly impossible to detect without the right knowledge and equipment. Today, we learned:
- The Warning Signs: How to spot faulty appliances before they become a danger.
- The Symptoms: Identifying the difference between a common flu and CO poisoning.
- Action Steps: Exactly what to do if an alarm goes off.
It’s not every day you get expert safety training delivered with such creativity and energy. We feel much more confident knowing how to keep ourselves, our families, and our community safe.
